‘Bill for Bible Classes in Public Schools Moves Forward’ (Click image for story)

This is an issue that I believe a lot of people are taking too seriously. Bible classes need to be taught in school. The reason given in the article is the same reason I’ll give now: it’s an important piece of literature in our society. Everyone ought to know what’s in that book.
Now, I will make the distinction between teaching Christianity and teaching the Bible. Don’t EVER teach my children to believe as you believe, only teach them what you believe and give them enough freedom to decide for themselves.
